Everyone always asks about good links for online learners. Here are a few:

1. EASYBIB - 

Easybib is a great resource for creating work cited pages and appropriately attributing sources (including websites) in your own work. It will automatically create citations from many webpages with just the web address, 

2. Center for Media Literacy 

"The Center for Media Literacy (CML) is an educational organization that provides leadership, public education, professional development and educational resources nationally and internationally. Dedicated to promoting and supporting media literacy education as a framework for accessing, analyzing, evaluating, creating and participating with media content," There are many different learning modules and other resources contained on this site that are useful for staff development, student training and learning. 

3. National Association for Media Literacy

The core principals of "media literacy education is to help individuals of all ages develop the habits of inquiry and skills of expression that they need to be critical thinkers, effective communicators and active citizens in today’s world." This website provides resources and current research and news about media learning and media education. 

4. National Education Association



The National Education Association's goal is public education improvement. The online resources page provides a large number of links and resources to learning research and online tools for educators and learners.

It is important for learners to critically evaluate the sources of the information that they are using online. Check for sponsorship,  accreditation entities and credentials before using the webpage as a tool or source. It is clearly very important to CHECK YOUR LINKS before providing them in an educational/professional setting. Broken links are confusing and inconvenient.
